Howdy,
Dunno if this can be done... if not, then its REALLY annoying.
When viewing folders from My Computer (not using Windows Explorer) all other versions of MS Windows use to list folders and files vertically down the page, well Vista lists them horizontally, and its DRIVING ME INSANE. I keep looking in folders and saying to myself "oh that file is missing... wheres it gone" only to find its on the right of the file it should really be below (if you know what I mean). I view all folders in View > Small Icons btw.
I've searched EVERYWHERE in the folder options, views etc and can't find anything... am I missing it somewhere? Or do I have to live with it being listed horizontally?
Hope that makes sense, and someone can help?

Sorting files vertically?
Hello,
You're looking for the "List View" option, and it is already back in private builds of Vista... you will be able to see it when the public release of RC1 is available :)
